It takes time to give your trust for a company especially if you haven’t tried any of its services at all. You will be worried about being billed for a work done sloppily or you may be anxious about paying something that’s not even worth it. Most people who belong to the group of the management are having second thoughts of dealing vendors especially if it’s not approved by the corporate offices but let me tell you, would you even know how great a service is if you haven’t tried? On the other hand, there are other ways to show you how you could trust one company and that all the negative beliefs or the taboos of this industry are not real at all.
CARPET RESTORATION IS EXPENSIVE
Have you calculated the total cost of changing your carpets compared to restoring them? Considering installation fees, the price of the carpets in total for the whole property and other extra fees, you must know by now that restoration’s cost is nothing compared to replacing the carpets. As most people would assume that carpet restoration is expensive, the reality that lays behind it is that it only costs a fraction compared to getting replacements. Restoration is good if you will consider it’s life span value. In the long run, you’ll eventually learn that doing restoration can save you money.
HOW WILL I KNOW AS A CUSTOMER THAT THE SERVICE BEING PROVIDED BY A VENDOR IS OF GOOD QUALITY?
Every company promotes good quality service but seldom does the actual quality of work. Before doing the job, did the company ever provided you with more information about the services they offer? Have you tried getting a quote from them in case you wanted to secure the amount first before getting a work appointment? Good quality of service starts from being introduced to the services offered, having a comparison of prices by getting a quote to prepare your mind and of course, the budget. When all of these ways are done accordingly, a company with good service always gets feedback from its customers. As serving with the best services is the main goal, the partnership is what most great companies expect.
WILL I BE ABLE TO SAVE MONEY FOR DOING RESTORATION?
Let’s take a look at this question in depth. Let’s try to calculate one room with the average cost to install the new carpeting. Installation is between $8 and $12 per square foot. The average hotel room is roughly 325 square feet so If we’re just to calculate this using $8 as a minimum just for the installation alone, we’d get $2,600. We’re also adding the price of the carpets so, we are getting a pricey rate which is more than $2,600. On the other hand, if you choose to restore the carpets, you would be able to restore at least 3-4 rooms with stains on a price lesser than $500. It’s a fraction only of the pricey amount you would get for replacing and getting your new carpets installed. The benefit of having your carpets restored is prolonging its life span. You get to have your carpets with you for the next years to come
RESTORATION ONLY PREVENTS YOU FROM REPLACING EVEN IF THE CARPETS ARE ALREADY IN A BAD SHAPE
The main purpose of restoration is getting rid of the unwanted stains on the carpets without having to replace them unnecessarily especially if they’re just new with some few years only being spent on its life span. Now, if the carpets are old enough, have lots of tears that are already visible as well and have prone carpet problems, we won’t necessarily recommend having it restored as it is already damaged. The damage is something that carpet restoration won’t be able to resolve anymore. What carpet restoration as service targets is taking care of carpets and not having reasons to replace the carpets just because it looks awful with the hardened stains, discoloration and the burn marks caused by iron, etc.
CARPETS ARE STILL FINE EVEN WITH BURN MARKS AND STAINS AS LONG AS IT’S CLEANED REGULARLY
Who wouldn’t want a fresh smelling carpet? Of course, we all want a freshly cleaned carpet as it looks dazzling and everything would feel new. Having to deal with stains and burn marks might also be dependent on the carpet type or its design. We’ll have a scenario for the carpet types for you to better understand as to why it is not good to let your carpets remain as it is with all of the stains and burns it has within. Let’s say for example we have a light solid colored carpet and eventually, a guest spilled a glass of red wine on it. Now, we have a red wine stain problem. This stain will be visible since it’s a light-colored carpet and the wine’s color very pigmented so it will create a stain no matter what. This is a problem and it will never be okay to use bleach to get rid of the wine stain. Why? because it will only lighten the stains and it will probably end up looking like pink or light brown. Using bleach will be another problem and it causes discoloration on the carpets. Instead of just having to trouble yourself with a stain, you now have a stain and a carpet discoloration problem caused by bleach. That is a scenario if you have a plain, light-colored carpet. What if we have a dark-colored carpet? We can say it’s a good choice to choose carpet colors such a navy blue, a solid color black or patterned carpets in the shades of black. Normal stains would not be visible and even burn marks however during the cleaning of this type of carpet and you happen to use bleach, that’s a discoloration issue. So you see, even if the carpets are cleaned regularly, It’s not fine if you don’t resolve its problem sooner. It will create a problem and the more you disregard those problems, it will age faster than its expected life span.
